TSC TTP-225 Wins 2012 Taiwan Excellence Award
Taipei, Taiwan – December 29, 2011 – TSC Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. (TSC) is thrilled to report that the TTP-225 label printer has been chosen from among 1,145 products to receive the prestigious 2012 Taiwan Excellence Award recognizing the most revolutionary, high-quality, high-value-added products made in Taiwan.
More than 425 companies – the most participation ever – vied for honors in the latest competition, submitting a total of 1,145 product entries.

The award selection was based on four criteria: R&D, design, quality, and marketing. Each product was evaluated by an international panel of judges and had to score equally well in all four categories to be selected.
The Taiwan Excellence Award competition is organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. It has been held annually since 1992 to help promote product innovation in Taiwan's industries.
About the TTP-225 Series label printer
The affordably priced TTP-225 Series two-inch-format thermal label printer is ideally suited for most retail, medical and office applications. Designed with no losable parts, it features a user-friendly clamshell design with a large five-inch outside-diameter center- biased media capacity. Because of its compact, space-saving design, it can fit easily into cramped work areas.
The TTP-225 offers 203-dpi resolution and print speeds of up to five inches per second. The higher resolution 300-dpi version in the series (the TTP-323) is great for producing two-dimensional barcodes, fine text and small-graphics labels. The TTP-225 is the first low-cost thermal-transfer two-inch-format desktop printer on the market to offer an optional LCD display, which presents important information about print job status and setup that offers customers a greatly simplified level of operation.
