TSC Auto ID is a global leader in automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) and thermal label printing technologies. Founded in 1991, the company operates ISO-certified production facilities and has offices worldwide, serving customers in over 100 countries.
A pioneer in thermal printing, TSC Auto ID helped shape modern printing languages and introduced high-quality, cost-effective thermal printers. This innovation-driven approach has established it as a leading global thermal printer provider.
Through strategic acquisitions, TSC Auto ID has continuously expanded its product portfolio and global presence. The acquisition of Printronix Auto ID in 2016 strengthened its industrial printer lineup with advanced RFID and barcode inspection technologies. In 2019, the addition of Diversified Labeling Solutions (DLS) reinforced its North American label supply chain, while the 2023 acquisition of MGN expanded its European label production capabilities.
In 2024, TSC Auto ID acquired Bluebird Inc., a global leader in enterprise mobility solutions, further strengthening its Auto ID ecosystem. By integrating Bluebird’s expertise in enterprise mobile computing and data capture with TSC Auto ID’s industry-leading label printing technologies, the company has expanded its ability to provide end-to-end automation solutions. Bluebird’s strong presence in retail, logistics, and healthcare enhances TSC Auto ID’s ability to serve businesses with seamless input-to-output workflows. While Bluebird continues to operate independently, TSC Auto ID supports its growth through technology integration, operational alignment, and collaborative go-to-market strategies.
